This being human is hard sometimes. It can be lonely, scary, overwhelming. What do we do when the world seems to be moving faster and faster, but everything in us says slow down? Therapy can be a powerful and courageous step away from isolation and toward finding yourself and your meaning again. Therapy offers a space to find your ground, where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with your deeper wisdom. Together, we will nurture and grow a relationship where all parts and feelings are welcomed with compassion and curiosity. I provide an inviting space where you can be fully seen and heard without judgment. In our work together, we’ll honor your experiences while exploring new possibilities for healing and growth.
Drawing from ecopsychology, humanistic therapy, somatic practices, and liberation psychology, we will craft and create therapy that feels authentic and life-affirming to you using expressive arts, narrative storytelling, movement, personal mythology, and compassionate dialogue. My relational approach integrates mind, body, spirit, and community, helping you reconnect with your innate wisdom and find your authentic voice and sense of purpose amidst the chaos of a rapidly shifting world.
Trauma Recovery: Traumatic experiences can make us feel cut off from our authentic self, our loved ones, our community. Without support, we find ourselves feeling alone, powerless, and afraid of remembering or reliving what happened. Together, we’ll work to restore your sense of safety, strengthen self-regulation skills, and reconnect fragmented parts of your experience. This process isn’t about erasing the past, but rather integrating it in ways that allow you to move forward with greater wholeness and choice.
Anxiety and Depression: You can reconnect with your aliveness and find joy, connection, and meaning again. Through mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, and creative exploration, I’ll help you recognize patterns, understand your unique triggers, and develop greater flexibility in your responses. Our work together honors YOU, in mind, body, spirit, relationships, and history, while cultivating practical skills for emotional regulation. By reconnecting with your body’s natural capacity for all this wild ride of life has to offer, you can gradually restore your sense how to navigate life’s uncertainties and greet each day with its possibilities for joy.
Attachment and Ecotherapy: We exist within a web of relationships. These connections shape our sense of safety, belonging, and meaning. When relationships and attachments have been sources of pain or rupture, the effects can ripple through our entire ecosystem of being. This is especially true when a person faces systemic oppression, bears witness to the destruction of our ecosystem, and experience the powerlessness and loss of trauma, abuse, and grief. By understanding yourself as part of an interconnected ecosystem, you can discover new pathways to nourishing relationships that support your growth, honor your autonomy, and deepen your sense of belonging in the world. I will support you as you awaken to your purpose, show up for yourself and your loved ones, and fight for the world you want to give to future generations.
