I believe therapy is a collaborative journey grounded in compassion, mindfulness, and authenticity. My goal is to help you cultivate a kinder, more accepting relationship with yourself—one that allows you to explore difficult emotions and experiences without judgment, live in alignment with your values, process the present, and heal from the past at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
In our work together, I guide clients in acknowledging painful or uncomfortable thoughts and emotions, recognizing that suffering is a natural part of being human, and learning to respond with gentleness rather than self-criticism. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). These methods help clarify values and goals, foster acceptance of what cannot be changed, and support meaningful action toward creating the life and relationships you desire.
Somatic awareness is an integral part of this process. By reconnecting with your body and noticing how trauma, anxiety, and stress manifest through physical sensations, we can use mindful self-compassion to gently attend to these signals—observing tension, grounding through breath, and developing tools for emotional regulation. This process helps restore a sense of balance, safety, and connection between mind and body.
In my clinical experience, this integrated approach has been especially effective for individuals healing from complex trauma, various forms of abuse, and relational challenges. It supports emotional regulation, enhances communication skills, and strengthens the ability to build and sustain healthy relationships. Through this work, clients often rediscover peace, joy, and fulfillment as they achieve personal and interpersonal goals. My hope is to support you in building resilience, clarifying your values, and deepening your capacity for self-kindness, meaningful growth, and authentic connection with others.
I love spending time outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and connecting with nature — it’s where I find balance and perspective.
