I have had a lifetime of raising children and being an art teacher and an artist. I am excited to be transitioning into a second career as an Art Therapist. As I become a Therapist I hope to help children, women, and families who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, emotional intensity, or patterns that keep them stuck. Clients would be seeking a more creative, embodied way to heal, especially when talking alone doesn’t quite capture their experience.
Using art therapy, parts work, somatic practices, and mindfulness, I will support clients in understanding their inner world and the patterns that show up in daily life. This work helps clients build emotional regulation, reconnect with resilience, and develop a deeper sense of safety within themselves.
I am especially drawn to supporting childhood trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and family stress. I also integrate art therapy, eco-therapy and sand tray approaches, allowing clients to explore their stories through nature, image-making, and symbolic play.
My goal is to offer a grounded, compassionate space where creativity and embodiment open pathways for healing and transformation.
